Tonight I am having a film screening and audience discussion in Monterey. I am excited about the community interest in my work and the subject of Katrina. This event will be filmed and broadcast on the local AMP television station. Since last I wrote in August, I have been very busy with 20 units in school and working with the various pieces of media I am creating. I will be graduating in May and I am looking forward to having more time to devote to my film work. I will write again soon. Estée
Film Nite Success!: To Estee and crew, What a success! Turn out and discussions about the Katrina issues shows our community is not apathetic. You made a very interesting night in your presentation showing the timeline on screen w/maps of the area so we can better understand what those people faced down there that early morning. Also, the live phone testimony was personal and hit home for us to hear. Looking forward to your next community event. (11/13/07)
